Toucan is a simple utility that allows you to sync, backup and encrypt your files. It is divided into tabs, allowing you to easily find the function you want. Toucan's tabbed interface makes it very easy to use. Besides synchronizing with four different methods, the program also creates compressed backups (even incremental ones) and allows you to encrypt and decrypt data.

Features of Toucan

• Five sync modes, Copy, Mirror, Balance, Move and Clean. They can be combined with a variety of file checks such as File Size, Modified Time, and File Header Checks to minimize the amount of copying required.
• Backup and restore in industry-standard Zip, 7-Zip, and GZip files, with complete backup support, updating existing and differential backups, and file restore from the repository. Automatic checking of created repositories is also supported as password protection.
• Encrypt AES-256 with ccrypt.
• The rule system allows you to easily exclude files based on their name, regular expression, modification date, or file size.
• A large set of Variables built for basic functions like date and time, or more complex variables that point to a drive label or document directory. You can also define your own shortcuts as shortcuts to your USB drive or your computer.
• Many more features like Windows taskbar support, full drag and drop support, and multi-language translation.
