Physical Audio Preparation 2 v2.1.3
Physical Audio Preparation is a physics modeling tool based on non-linear collision and string models. The Physical Audio Preparation is based on a mathematical model of 2 basic factors; strings can be configured as bars and rattle elements. Each voice has a pair of wires connected by a chime that responds to vibrations at each end.
This uses the latest research in collision modeling to compute the sound system in real time. The strings have parameters for non-linearity, dissonance, strength, and timbre. The rattle has knobs that control the mass at each end, its distance from the string, its stiffness, sharpness, durability, and position. An equalizer, overdrive, and reverb complete the signal chain, producing a wide range of sounds from cut to epic.
