ConfigureDefender is a small utility for configuring built-in Defender Antivirus settings in Windows 10. It is part of the Hard_Configurator project (which includes the source file), but it can be used as a standalone application. There are some preconfigured settings included, but you can customize it to your exact needs. The interface of ConfigureDefender isn't too modern, but it does provide access to essential settings needed to preview and ultimately configure Windows Defender properly.

You can manually disable/enable various items such as real-time and behavior monitoring, script downloading and scanning, PUA protection, etc. It is interesting that ConfigureDefender includes several preset configuration models if you are unsure about what to change allowing you to choose for one of them.

ConfigureDefender will prove to be useful for those who want to get the most out of Windows Defender so you can have complete protection. This will be especially true if you're using Windows Defender as your primary antivirus option.
