Questsoft's original QTranslate application used to be the best translation tool on Windows desktops — until development stopped, the API broke, and users were left with a dead application. This is a complete rewrite in Kotlin with one core design change: everything is plugin-based. The translation engine, OCR, TTS, spell check, dictionary — all are separate JAR files that you install at runtime. When a service changes its API or stops working, you simply replace the plugin. The application continues to run.

QTranslate allows you to translate any text between dozens of languages ​​with just one click. You can paste text into the GUI and see the translation in the frame below, or simply select the text and press Ctrl + Q to see the translation in a pop-up window. Text translation programs with the help of several online translation services - you can choose from Google Translate (default), Microsoft Translate, Babylon, Promt, or SDL and switch between the results.

QTranslate also supports text-to-speech synthesis, allowing you to listen to text in the original language or the translation. In addition to text translation, you can also use QTranslate to search for words in several online dictionaries. Other features include spell checking, translation history, and a built-in virtual keyboard.
